Trying to stay calm

I have tried my best to avoid the news today, it only upsets me, leaves me feeling helpless watching as our liberal legislators start the process toward a sosialist nation. I watch as our freedoms slip away and all I can do is write about my feelings.  I will not give in, I will not give up speaking my mind that is until they take away that right too. I must admit the liberal media has even stuped so low as to make this whole health care debate a racial thing, because some dumb ass spit on a black congressman as he marched into the capital. I CAN NEVER  support this type of behavior, but I will not sit here and see them turn this into something it isn't, a racial thing.

  1. They are desperate that is why they are bring race into this. I just can't believe that people think this is going to work as they don't trust congress but want to turn health insurance over to them.

  2. "PISSED OFF PARTY" (or POP)

Not Democrat, Not Republican, Not Independent.

It's called the "PISSED OFF PARTY" (or POP).

This party is dedicated to vote every incumbent out of office in the next elections.
If you're Democrat, vote Democrat. Just don't vote for the incumbent.
If you're Republican, vote Republican. Just don't vote for the incumbent.

We need to send a message to all politicians, that we're tired of their B.S.
If the country votes out all the incumbents, the new incoming politicians will get the message..

It's pretty simple. Nobody needs to change parties and let’s face it, there's plenty of blame to spread around.
A few good politicians will lose their job but they probably have better retirement and insurance than 95% of the American public.
I guarantee you, none of them will suffer like this country has.
To All 535 voting members of the Legislature; it is now official you are ALL corrupt morons:

a.. The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.
b.. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.
c.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.
d.. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.
e.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.
f.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.
g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM?
IT'S NOT ABOUT THE NEED FOR GOOD HEALTH CARE; IT'S ABOUT TRUSTING THE GOVERNMENT TO RUN IT!

In remarks after the completion of the House's votes, Obama praised fellow Democrats for passing the legislation after well over a year of negotiations and setbacks. "We proved that we are still a people capable of doing big {BAD} things," the president said in televised remarks. "We proved that this government — a government of the people and by the people — still works for the people." According to some who met with him, he warned that the bill's demise could cripple his still-young presidency. Republicans attacked the bill without let-up, warning it would harm the economy while mandating a government takeover of the health care system.
"The American people know you can't reduce health care costs by spending $1 trillion or raising taxes by more than one-half trillion dollars. The American people know that you cannot cut Medicare by over one-half trillion dollars without hurting seniors," said Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich."And, the American people know that you can't create an entirely new government entitlement program without exploding spending and the deficit." To pay for the changes, the legislation includes more than $400 billion in higher taxes over a decade, roughly half of it from a new Medicare payroll tax on individuals with incomes over $200,000 and couples over $250,000. A new excise tax on high-cost insurance policies was significantly scaled back in deference to complaints from organized labor. In addition, the bills cut more than $500 billion from planned payments to hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and other providers that treat Medicare patients. An estimated $200 billion would reduce planned subsidies to insurance companies that offer a private alternative to traditional Medicare. The insurance industry warned that seniors would face sharply higher premiums as a result, and the Congressional Budget Office said many would return to traditional Medicare as a result. The subsidies are higher than those for seniors on traditional Medicare, a difference that critics complain is wasteful, but insurance industry officials argue goes into expanded benefits. Republicans said it was nothing of the sort, warning of a government takeover of the health care system, financed by a trillion dollars in higher taxes and Medicare cuts combined.
"There is dirty deal after dirty deal after dirty deal in the bill this House will vote on," said Rep. Mike Rogers of Michigan. "It is a disgrace."
